Hello, and a very warm welcome to my website.

Yes, I'm back! My name is Nick Bishop, and this is the website of my family and my family's genealogy. I created this site for 3 main reasons:

  1. To share my family's genealogy with family and other interested parties

  2. To collect and share information on other 'Bishops' across Oxfordshire (and who knows, maybe even further afield in time)

  3. To create a 'web presence' in the vain hope of being able to track down lost and elusive family members, and so expand my tree.

So please, come inside and enjoy what you find

(By the way, this is not the final design for the website - it will change. This is just a placeholder, so I can get my 'Tree' online now. Bookmark his page and come back soon!)

NEW LOOK WEBSITE COMING.....I am in the process of creating an exciting new look for the website. When it is complete, it will appear as the home page (replacing this one). Until then, you can preview the site here: http://www.thebishopsonline.co.uk/genealogy/tng10/index.php If you have any comments, please do let me know.

UPDATE: 10 October 2006 -Gosh, has it been that long since I made a major change to the website? Doesn't time fly? Anyhow, I am pleased to say that I have completely re-vamped the photo pages, and added a lot more as well. I do hope you find them interesting. If you have any you would like to add, please contact me by clicking on the mailbox icon in the left hand panel.

UPDATE: 11 February 2005 - I am delighted to be able to include further family details, in the tree created by my cousin, Ellen Duffy. Ellen has done a lot of research on the Butler, Gibbons, Ames and Croom families, and I am grateful that she allowed me to host them on my site. I sure you will find it useful. Visit Ellen's tree by following the link on the left.
