Welcome!

Hello, and a very warm welcome to my website.

My name is Nick Bishop, and this is the website of my family, and my family's genealogy.

I created this site for 3 main reasons:

1. To share my family's genealogy with family and other interested parties
2. To collect and share information on other 'Bishops' across Oxfordshire (and who knows, maybe even further afield in time)
3. To create a 'web presence' in the vain hope of being able to track down lost and elusive family members, and so expand my tree.

In the 11 or so years since I created this site, many people have contacted me and made their own contributions to the tree, and I have, where possible, added members of some of the other families in the tree.

I have also changed the format somewhat since the original design. I'm still working on it - I have a lot of information and pictures still to add. I hope you like it. Please let me know.
