Shown in 1883 Kelley's directory as owner of tobacconist in High Street, Woodstock, but in 1891 and subsequent years, owner is 'Mrs Ellen Stone'. Not clear what happened to Edmund.

  Noted events in his life were:

• He was baptised on 17 May 1853 in Wootton, Oxford.

• He was employed in 1881 in Tobacconist (Kelley's).

• He was employed in 1883 in Tobacconist (Kelley's).

• He had a residence in 1881 in Woodstock.

Edmund married Ellen Cox, daughter of William Cox and (Mary) Elizabeth, before 1881. (Ellen Cox was born about 1855 in Souldern, Oxford ⁸ and died on an unknown date.)
